The high quality leather feels quite durable and should wear well, the colors and style are tasteful and inviting. It looks like an expensive wallet and it is, but the price is more than fair compared to the high quality. The elastic and durable fabric band holds the wallet in place and keeps your money safe in the center pocket or under the elastic band wide enough to keep it there. You can also put some coins in the center pocket, which is good for countries that still have coins in useful denominations like the US quarter, a euro coin, 5 and 10 shekel coins, etc., but it doesn't look like that looks like the coin wallet in mine, so take that into account if that's important to you. I bought this for my 18 year old son and he uses it all the time and loves it - if you want a nice gift that will last for years this would be a great choice.
