This kaftan is of very good quality. I ordered it in black and it's real black, not see-through, not see-through. The pom poms are safe and hopefully they stay safe and have made it so far. I think you could wear this on a boat or at the beach in the evening. But for me it's perfect for wearing around the house, you can go into the yard or get mail and still feel comfortable yet hidden. Your sizing is accurate, maybe a little big and very stretchy so you can go smaller depending on your preferred fit. I'm pleasantly surprised at how much I like it and will probably order 1 in a different color.
