I should have said that first because I don't see it stated clearly enough or stated often enough in product listings, online videos, reviews, etc. Now for my review: yes it is an amazing machine that works wonders and is safe if used properly. I knew auto repair shops used ozonizers, but I didn't know how they worked. Since all of this information is online, I won't rehash the science and best practices. I was looking for one of these in a house I bought that smelled strongly of cigarette smoke and there are many articles and videos online about how efficient these machines are and how to set them up. I took a chance on this particular machine and it paid off - it did a great job removing that lingering cigarette smoke stink. I used a exit timer, set it for 6 hours, turned on the ozone generator, made sure I already had everything I needed to take with me and placed it on the front door, then turned on the timer and walked right through that door . . Several, about 8-10 procedures destroyed unpleasant smells. This is a small car, so I systematically drew different rooms and areas separately and closed the doors. I was so impressed with the results that I have used the same methods with this generator in my own home, cars and RV to effectively remove all bad odors from cooking, pets, teenagers, camping etc. Ozone smells like bleach, but after processing and airing it disappears to a fresh, clean smell and then is completely odorless. Some complain about this but I like the smell which doesn't last long, maybe a day or so depending on how much you air it out. The more concentrated the treatment, restricting the treatment area and the longer it lasts, the stronger the initial bleaching odor will be. This machine has strong metal body, lightweight and portable, and durable. Again, I didn't know much about these generators, but now I can say that this is the real deal. It has suffered a lot in the short time I have had it and if it broke tomorrow I would still get my money back many times over. I want to buy a second one so I can design larger outdoor areas.
