After the Covid pandemic I wanted one of those infrared thermometers for home use like the ones we use at work. I'm an RN and have found this non-contact thermometer to be the safest option for taking group temperatures. We wall mounted it, but there are other mounting options, or just place it on a counter or in a box. This is a LARGE, good size if you plan to use it consistently for many people. It makes a robust and well-made impression. Since this is an infrared sensor, I add a degree to each number that comes up to compensate for the non-contact temperature reading. You have a choice of degrees Fahrenheit or Celsius, and there's also an insert that comes with the thermometer to guide you through use and direction of what certain buttons or lights indicate. Easy to use and, since it is non-contact, fairly accurate. I'm definitely satisfied.
