Review on Gamepad Microsoft Xbox 360 Wireless Controller for Windows, black by Micha Sarnowski ᠌
A good balance of price/quality, recommend it.
I had the pleasure of playing with this controller on Xbox for over a year, and the sensations were purely positive. I was very pleased with the news that now you can also indulge in it on the PC, and bought it a day after I learned this wonderful news. Nothing compares to the comfort of playing while sitting on a comfy couch rather than sprawling over a hundred keys. Plus, it's a much more economical alternative to buying a complete Xbox.
Pros
- 1. First of all, this is the most ergonomically successful gamepad of those that I had to hold in my hands: - heavy just enough so that it can be confidently felt in the hands, and light enough so that the same hands do not strain; brushes do not become numb even after several hours of continuous play; - does not slip; it is comfortable to hold, all fingers lie on the plane of the controller without tension; - All buttons are located conveniently, at an accessible distance. I only have difficulties with Assassin’s Creed, where to run fast + rotate the camera + to be able to grab a fleeing thief = you have to intercept the gamepad in an inconvenient way. - aesthetically pleasing to the eye. I was looking for white. Looks really stylish. 2. Build quality. Personally, I have a Chinese assembly, but: - does not backlash; - the details fit exactly; - No cosmetic defects found. 3. The adapter cord (transmitting device, I don’t know what else to call it) is long enough (2m) to stretch it from the computer closer to the sofa. There is an elastic band along the perimeter of the bottom of the adapter, which ensures its stable position on the surface.
Cons
- 1. Not supported by all games. For example, I did not understand how to make him friends with Modern Warfare 3. 2. The above cant with Assassin's Creed. Although those who played it are well aware that the management there is quite complicated, and such incidents, most likely, could not be avoided. 3. Someone spoke above about the price - I agree, not the cheapest toy, even when compared with the cost of the same wireless controller for XBOX without an adapter for PC - the difference is almost 1 thousand. Here, who is willing to pay how much for pleasure. I personally gave the money without thinking.
