A great replacement for light to medium duty applications that require fast deployment as well as compact storage. and plastic rings. The orange color is bright and the gray stripes reflect the light very well, which improves visibility. Opening the cone is just as easy as opening, however folding takes a little longer. They are the same size as regular 28" cones, but when all four are stacked, including the lights, the collection is about half the size of a single cone (14"). The LED lights come with 2 AAA Battery powered so requires a total of 8 AAA batteries They fit snugly in the top holes of the cones The instructions state that you have to press the cone to toggle between Blinking, Steady and Off modes but pressing the black one Button's are just as effective and less annoying than trying to push the light onto the cone and then trying to pull it back out.My only complaint is that these cones are light.I live in a high wind area and although I... Haven't experienced typical wind conditions so far I'm not ready to use them until I've weighted them down.Fortunately the corners of the plastic bases are hollow and the base is held together (the latches are a good desi gn), so I'm wondering if I just want to put rocks or some other weight in it. Consider adding weights, especially if you're trying to use them in high-wind areas or on highways with fast-moving traffic. My only other complaint is that it doesn't come with a carrying case. Not the biggest problem, but it would be a nice addition. Overall, I recommend it for light to medium workloads due to its compact size and rapid deployment ability. I wouldn't recommend them for daily or intensive use (emergency or roadside assistance) due to their light weight and the time it takes to fold them up (trying to fold them up quickly can cause more problems than they solve), but their mileage does may vary .
