Finish Used Wick Well
I bought this mainly to trim the wick when burning mushrooms in tall pots. For this purpose it works great. The round tip also grabs the used wick so I don't have to fish it out. I've tried trimming a new wick but it doesn't work. I have to cut it several times at different angles and finally I got it but it's messy. You're better off using scissors, but for burnt wicks, these scissors will get the job done.
