Appears to be well made. I have a case, but I chose a transparent film that can be used directly on the phone without a case. (This prevents sticky residue when you remove the stand.) It held up well for about 1 week and then came loose during use. The clear film just came off my phone but NOT the stand. I had to remove all the 3M glue and use the extra 3M glue that came with it. It seems very durable, and while transparencies are a good idea in theory, I don't think I would use them for security reasons. Use directly on your phone and gently remove with Goo Gone when needed. It spins, just wait for the glue to set and then try to move it. Mine didn't feel like it, but I was too gentle. This review is in response to a promotion.
