Review on 🚗 Enhance Shifting Precision: New Manual Shifter Stop-Red Anodized for Subaru 2015 WRX/10-14 Legacy/Outback/14+ Forester by Frank Bruton

I fitted these parts to a 2021 Crosstrek 6MT. The stopper worked great to eliminate side tilt in 1st and 2nd gears. The brass bushing makes the shifter click louder and feel sharper without the shock absorption of the OEM part. My particular kit had good instructions on how to install the shift limiter, but the screws that came with it were too long, going all the way down and would not tighten. I ended up shortening my screws a few millimeters with a Dremel, but I would recommend Crosstrek owners to go to a hardware store and purchase slightly shorter screws before attempting to install them. My kit didn't have instructions on how to install the bushing, so I looked on YouTube. Video. The videos I found talked about reusing the stock shim from the OEM hub, but my OEM hub didn't have a separate shim. Without the washer, the brass bushing had excessive lateral play and if the cable end were to come loose from the O-rings the only securing element would be a cotter pin. I was able to find a thick stainless washer in my parts bin that was good for taking up slack and holding the end of the cable when it came loose from the o-rings. So the parts work well, but I took off the star because of the screws. no fit and no instructions for the sleeve.
