We're trying to get rid of 'disposable' plastic in our home, but we rely on plastic sandwich bags for lunches at work. I bought these to store snacks and fresh fruit and/or veggies for meals. I received these containers in the mail last night and today (washed beforehand!) I sent my husband to work with a Stanley food can of hot beans and rice and used one of these steel containers to store fresh onions and cilantro. put on top. Ideal! Washable, reusable, durable and fits perfectly in your lunch bag. I highly recommend it, actually I really want to buy a second set and I would, but right now we're kind of broke so maybe next paycheck! Buy them, you will like them!
