The original compressor failed after 18 years. Replaced by this one. My air conditioning is now working very well. Feels even colder than when you first bought the car. This compressor also came with just the right amount of oil so I didn't have to add oil. I pulled the vacuum cleaner for about an hour. Checked for leaks and then charged the system with DuPont Suva R134A refrigerant. Don't overload the system. Consult your service manual to determine how much refrigerant your system uses. This information can sometimes be found under the hood of a car. Also, only load the car with vapor on the low-pressure side. You may need to place the jars in hot water while charging. When replacing the compressor, be sure to replace the dryer.
