Complete drop-off on accent and off-road lighting

Installed today on a round cross member. They fit well, but the clamping parts are separate, making installation difficult. They don't have a "hinge". When tightening the screw on one of the blocks, the screw popped out (only half). I tried to tighten it and it got stripped off. The threaded part with the internal thread broke off immediately. There is absolutely no longer an issue. All in a split second. The screw looks ok. It must be an insanely cheap metal. I can not recommend and send it back.
