I've been using this product since June and it does the job perfectly. I've used it to sharpen my pruning shears and secateurs several times this season. I'm impressed with how well this tool works. The pruning shears were quite blunt as it was difficult to cut through the branches. After repeated sharpening, the pruning shears are always like new. At the start of the season I thought I might need to buy new pruning shears and I'm very glad this is no longer necessary. My secateurs work great and cut better than ever. I would highly recommend this sharpening tool as it works flawlessly on my non-crown pruners and secateurs. It took a few efforts to sharpen the pruning shears to get them sharp again. So don't expect miracles from the first pass. If they are dull, you will need to sharpen them several times. I tried after each use. Easy to use and does what it's supposed to.
