I may have ordered the wrong size. I've never done this before. They didn't want to go into the lens. I managed to get them working. I cut a corner at the end of the compression sleeves. Then, using the edge of the table as a support, carefully slide the sleeve through the lens until it is flush with the lens. I had trouble getting the nose bridge notches through the compression sleeve the first time. On the second try, I soaked the lens with the compression sleeve in hot, soapy water. I lined up the notches on the bridge of the nose part with the holes in the lenses with the compression sleeves, pressed them firmly into the holes, and then gently clamped them together with a small vise. Shipping of this item was much quicker than expected when I placed the order. Now I have extra parts so I'm prepared for future setbacks! I hope this helps someone else
