Review on Compustar 2WR3R FM 2 Way 3000 Remote by Ognjen Cao

I bought and installed this remote start from a dealer (and they charged me $499) so I can't vouch for the ease of installation. But what can I tell you, this jerk will start the car. I work in a concrete building and my car is about 1000 meters away from me and it starts with no problems. However, this is the only plus. It may have been incorrectly installed by the dealer, but I can no longer lock or unlock my car with my original key fob and my proximity functions no longer work (unlock car by touching handle). I can't get the unlock to work with remote start unless I'm nearby. Therefore, when I start the car at home, I cannot start it remotely and unlock the car from home. As soon as I get in the car after using the remote start, I have to turn the car off and on again. drive again. It can't be how it was designed to work.
