I was looking for a docking station for my wife to use with her MacBook Pro. She alternated between working at home and in the office, and at home it became apparent that she needed an external monitor and a wired internet connection. This docking station can charge your MacBook when connected and offers three different types of external monitor connections. I had a problem getting the gigabit ethernet port to work for a few days. I'm still not sure what exactly the problem was. When I plugged in the ethernet cable there was no data and the macbook was not using ethernet. I tried connecting to a windows computer and had no problems. I contacted the manufacturer for help and their first question was if I used the included power adapter, which I did. After disconnecting the device three times, the Ethernet port finally worked with the MacBook. I found this odd as all other ports were working fine and I can't imagine the dock not getting full performance but whatever the problem was it's now solved and it's working great. It's very easy for my wife to connect/disconnect a USB-C cable and get an external monitor, wireless keyboard and mouse, wired gigabit ethernet and power adapter all in one. The device also looks very nice on her desk right under her monitor and keeps everything clean.
