Review on Olympus M. Zuiko Digital ED 45mm f1.8 (Silver) Lens for Micro 4/3 Cameras - International Version: Enhanced Photography Experience, No Warranty by Kiyoshi Sagae ᠌

Revainrating 5 out of 5

The quality is at the level, I am satisfied with everything.

This is truly a must have for any M4/3 system owner. This lens is a reference to the legendary OM Zuiko 50 / 1.8 of the old Olympus film system, but it is spared from the annoying barrel, and the chromaticity is also reduced. Impeccably sharp, but most importantly - it has really beautiful bokeh, like its film "grandfather". The Olympus engineers, realizing that they would have to work hard to make a lens with beautiful bokeh for a camera with a relatively small sensor (which is the M4 / 3), they completed their task - bravo. I would also like to note that if you put it on OM-D 5 or 10, it will look just wow

Pros
  • Sharpness, bokeh, fast autofocus, looks awesome
Cons
  • There is nothing in the kit except for the caps. No hood, no case.

Great purchase for a Micro 4:3 camera. A very good portraiture and not only for the money.
