I first bought these for my Jeep Wrangler with the doors closed, they work very well for that. The quality is good and to be honest I bought from this seller and not others because the price was lower. There are about a dozen of them on Revain, and they're all the same except for the markings. The main thing to look out for is the corner bracket that mounts above the Jeep hinge. This way you don't have to take everything apart every time you install it in the jeep. This is the right option and it works very well. INSTALLATION INSTRUCTIONS: The ones that came with the kit are just wrong. The funny thing though is that all the other Revain sellers with the same product have the same parts but show a different build so it was difficult to figure out how everything was supposed to work together. So, after a lot of research, trial and error. This is how it should be: (see attached pictures for reference) Above - next to the mirror - use the parts that were attached here, in the following order: both brackets (doesn't matter which order) metal washer lock washer small nut - with a wrench from Tighten by hand, not too tight. The lower section attaches to your Jeep's hinge in this order: Flat washer with crosspiece nut (hand tighten with a wrench) White plastic washer Black rubber washer (to protect Jeep's hinge). Hinges (these are the parts you remove when installing on your Jeep) do the work in reverse order: black rubber washer, white washer, lockwasher and finally the plastic threaded locknut - this helps hold everything together and requires a wrench when installing . very easy once you know how to assemble it properly.
