It's worth it! Do it and don't hurry.
It wasn't easy, but everything went as expected. We replaced our kid's broken screen and for $30 you can't beat it. That works great. It was a bit difficult to remove the old strainer and it broke into a thousand pieces but finally a new strainer that works great. I would replace all of our screens in the future instead of paying hundreds of dollars for someone else to do it.
