I've been using this for a few months and this little man is just what I need to keep my Dell XPS13 (9365) upright when it's on my desk is installed. He's also holding my phone. I was concerned when I received it because it was so small (fitted in the palm of my hand). I adjusted it to a max width that sits a little on the thick end of my laptop with the protective sleeve below purchased from Amazon (it fits but lifts with the laptop when I take it out). So I put my thin end laptop down and it works great. The main thing about this thing is that it appears strong, and it is. I'm not worried about it tipping over. The width is adjusted with the Allen key supplied (sunken setscrew on the underside). Details: My laptop with the lid is 25/32" thick at the thickest point (just over 3/4") and 21/32" thick at the bottom. thinnest part (just over 5/8").
