Mine leaked but didn't smell!
I just ordered this BC based on all the good reviews but unfortunately mine has expired. The packaging seems so safe too! It's sealed in a foil pouch, and the bottle itself is covered in vacuum plastic. But when I opened the sealed foil package, everything was damp inside and the bottle was half empty. I opened it anyway and it turned out that the lid was damaged. It cannot be screwed in or out correctly. Somehow it should snap in and out predictably. BUT I can say that even with my hands and table covered in product and the wet bag open, it didn't have a bad smell or any "toxic" fumes! so that's a plus lol
