Removes odors in my front loading washing machine

I have used this in my front loading washing machine as an air freshener between washes. Even if the door is left open between loads, it still smells musty. I live alone and only wash a few days a week. After only 2 days when I go to the laundry room I don't have a musty smell. I like that it's airtight and doesn't spill liquid if I accidentally knock it over while going in and out of the washing machine.
