This is a beautiful mug. Enough to put on the table and serve lemonade to my family of five over dinner. It looks like glass with a beautiful ribbed design. It is very durable and does not wobble when poured. The handle is sturdy and fixed at the top and bottom. I like the cover very much. You can open or close it. I also like that it's double walled. This appears to give it insulating properties and keep the water inside it cooler. If you're buying this for soaking and want something that will separate the lemon or cucumber so the chunks don't end up in your water, this isn't what you need. . If all you want to do is toss a few slices of cucumber in a pitcher of water and insist, and you want a good, strong pitcher, that's fine.
