My new kitten is chewing on the string and as a result I've had to replace quite a bit. I've been looking for a cable protector for a long time and ended up with this one. It actually worked VERY well. Now she doesn't even bother anymore because the plastic is too hard and too wide for her mouth. I have now ordered 6 of these and no longer have to worry about my computer cables, everything is covered. Now I have 3 dogs too and I can tell you when I look back at their puppyhood I don't know how well they would have held up. Their larger mouths and more powerful jaws may be restrained somewhat by these lids, but they will likely be able to chew through them over time.
