I used them for indirect lighting of kitchen cabinets. The remote has a lot more features than I use - basically 25% and 100% plus off is all I really need. Since I'm an RF, I don't need to point to it (even if the LED flashes when you press the button, it's just to let you know it's working). My controller is in a cabinet above the stove. I drilled a ⅛ inch hole for the wires, added my own extension cords, and connected them to the power supply and controller in the central closet. There are 2 blocks on either side above the cabinets. I made it so I didn't have to drill ¾ inch holes to go through the large ports. And I used heat shrink solders without crimp connectors to connect the wires. Works perfectly!
