I am very happy with these lights. I bought them to combat winter blues by creating artificial sunlight. I put them between my window and the curtains and they do a great job as sunlight. I can turn them on 100% at 4am when it gets dark early, dim them as evening approaches and turn them off at 9am to meet my summer sun schedule. There are only two negative points with them. If you want them to look like expensive under cabinet lights then they will disappoint you. They offer under-cabinet lighting, but not without problems. Pros: The lighting is bright. No batteries. I like the dimmer on the remote control (100%, 50% and 25%). You cannot see the actual lighting when it is installed under the cabinet. Luminaires can be glued or screwed on.
