This camera is a bit expensive but much cheaper than really fancy cameras. This is a very good intermediate option for those who are just starting out in photography. I found setting up the camera very easy and straightforward if you use a lot of technology. I definitely recommend playing around with the settings and learning about the different features before using it for something you *need* really take pictures of. Although it's a bit more than I was willing to pay, this is a really good camera. Lenses are overpriced for my liking so if you want something with lots of features I would just spend the extra money and buy a next level camera.
