I ordered some steel parts from this company and had no problems. I've seen comments about it being difficult to work with or not glowing. I held a butane torch near this part for about 5 minutes until a nice blue color appeared on the metal. Let the metal cool and you should be fine. My 1/4" drill bits went through without a scream, and my hacksaw snapped through too. A good thing.
