Does the job: carpet cleaners and deodorants
This material masks odors well. It's not my favorite scent in the world, but it smells of purity. I would say the room smelled clean for a week maybe two. As for allergies, I don't think it really matters because I have a pretty severe allergy to dust mites and still can't stay in one room for too long. it's in my basement for your information
