My Kindle keeps crashing

I put in a memory card and it's working, accepting documents etc, but I keep getting a 'warning' that my memory card isn't installed and I need to install it anew. I've figured out that it's just a bug and I'm pretty good at ignoring warnings, but it's still a bit annoying.
