I like this idea and it seems to work but needs some work. I've already stopped using mine as it just became a problem I could live without. First, it indicates the presence of four cycles. Flavor, Instant, Smart, Cyclic. But as you can see from my photos I only have 3 fragrances, instant and cyclic. I don't even have symbols for the smart cycle. And of course, that's what I liked best, since it had to alternate between cleaning the air and releasing scent with a constant switch to sleep mode when nothing was on. there was something going on. I placed it on the floor in front of the entrance to my closed tray. It's supposed to detect the cat's movement, wait a bit for it to do its job and leave, and then start deodorizing and cleaning. He detects their movement and waits for them to finish before beginning. But I never noticed a taste no matter what mode I tried. I held this little wax-scented thing right up to my nose and felt nothing. Which is probably a good thing as I can't find anywhere else you would buy more if they actually worked. It seems to eliminate odors given enough time. If my cat pooped and I walked by, I would still smell her. But that daily smell of urine and old garbage dumps seems to have faded over time. I was starting to get annoyed with the battery life. There is an alarm that will beep when the battery needs charging. Mine lasts about 3 days before it beeps. It may seem like a long time, but in my life this thing started beeping every few days (and it's like a smoke alarm. Always beeping in the middle of the night!) was getting on my nerves. I've found that my busy life prevents me from charging it for hours and then using it right away. I would charge it in an empty room and then forget about it for a few days. Then I remembered it and put it back in the tray and it didn't seem to squeak again for about a day. I got to the point where he spent more time in the spare loading chamber than in the litter box in a week. I know it says more about me but it just became an issue and another thing to deal with every few days. will continue to use this. But now in my life it's just chores.
