Better than I knew!
I've never used pastel, I've tried it and I'm very satisfied! This is an oil pastel and can be applied by rubbing directly onto the paper, scraping off bits with cotton swabs or cotton balls. A nice range of colors, very useful as a background in my coloring books. You can also use them as a base layer and paint over them!
