This lens is fantastic. If you've ever used the Veydra 25mm t2.2, you'll feel right at home with this little guy. It's quite sharp at wide open and gets even sharper when it's turned down a bit. Color reproduction is good and contrast is fairly even. This creates a very nice, smooth image. The bokeh is quite nice and not too blurry. The lens does have some chromatic aberration when used in very high-contrast environments, but this is easily fixed in post-processing and isn't too noticeable. The focus rotation is 300 degrees, which seems a bit large for one person's work. I'd prefer something closer to 200 for solo hands, but if you're working with follow focus or a focus puller you're fine. The gears are nice and smooth and absolutely noiseless in operation. The aperture ring on my model is a little looser than the focus ring, so it's easy to accidentally close the aperture, but that might be an issue on my particular device. In general I am very happy with this lens and for the price there is nothing to compare it to. He outperforms the Rockinons by a mile. Pros - Sharpness Color rendition and contrast Build quality Price Cons - Chromatic aberration Focus path is a bit long (300 degrees)
