I'm updating my review below: The mod chip seems to work with an XBox Series X when installed in an XBox One S controller and I'm now glad it works the way it does should. However, I'm sticking to what I wrote about their instructions. they are terrible! If I suspected that there would be very little instruction on how to install this mod chip, I certainly wouldn't spend money to buy it. I couldn't find any written instructions and only a YouTube video that doesn't help installing the mod chip into the controller that comes with the XBox Series X console. It seems that they could at least contain a diagram or image that marks the connection points the responsible persons with whom he works. I don't recommend buying this product unless 7 watts makes a youtube video that much better, it's clear not blurry and the instructor tells you what color wire it connects to where! Careful soldering is required when installing this thing. I had to sharpen the soldering tip into the tip of the needle and then re-tin it because I was dealing with micro parts that were very close together. The only thing I can say is that they did the right thing, they provided written instructions for the chip's operation. PS 7 watt shouldn't have good quality control as I read one person's review and they didn't receive anything in their package. Mine had two wired chips and one wireless; there should only be two in the package - I was lucky! I don't think I'm brave enough to install another one.
