Review on ScreenTray by Muleme Anderson

Revainrating 5 out of 5

ScreenTray is a simple yet powerful tool for taking screenshots.

I use screen-capture software daily and I would give 10 stars if possible! This app does exactly what I need. It's easy to use, fast and intuitive. A big plus is that the free version includes 100MB worth of screenshot captures (which you can expand upon). That alone makes it worth the price of admission. But the best part is that ScreenTray lets me annotate and organize screenshots quickly. It allows me to add notes to images and organize them according to date, project, file, etc. It's amazing to see how many times a day I am able to take screenshots without having to resort to print screens or copy/paste from websites. Another great feature is that I can easily create PDFs and share those via e-mail or Dropbox, etc. My favorite feature is being able to create a live presentation from my screenshots. In fact, I'm currently working on a presentation for my boss using screenshots taken in ScreenTray.

Pros
  • Easy to use
Cons
  • If you don't like the idea of giving out your personal information, you might want to consider signing up for another service that does not require such info.
  • There are a lot of basic tutorials that will show you how to use the app
