Such a waste. The rivets can be removed, but they will break into at least 4 pieces. I have a 9 row Denman brush but I wanted to see how I would end up with 5 rows instead of 9. So I bought this cheap brush to try on a drawing. I can put the pins back in if I want and also have 2 brushes. Smart right? I just took the brush and carefully began to remove a row of pins. It tore into 4 pieces as did every row I tried to remove. Now I have a brush with 5 rows, but I'll never be able to paste a single row again. When I opened it, I immediately noticed the poor quality of the brush. Even the handle is under the base. The bristles are hard plastic and I can see why they broke. Do yourself a favor and just get a real Denman. Even if you leave all the pins, this Diana brush will need to be replaced frequently.
