This monitor mount has two main problems: (1) It can hardly bear the weight of my 27 inch monitor even with the maximum gas pressure; and (2) the bottom half of the monitor arm *not articulated* in the vertical direction, so if your desk is against a wall (causing the arm to move sideways as the "elbow" would otherwise hit the wall ), then when you raise and lower the monitor, it moves in a semi-circular arc, not straight up and down. Also, this monitor comes with two allen wrenches, but none fit the last pivot point in the arm, which was set too low for the weight of my monitor, causing it to keep tipping forward (like a Luxo Jr. Pixar character when its head falling after him pops the ball at the beginning of every Pixar film). At this point I was seeing too many bugs with this monitor arm to rummage through my tools for the correct size Allen wrench to fix the problem. It's perfect for me when I'm trying to cut costs by ordering a cheap monitor mount!
