Review on πŸ” The Ultimate Cleaning Solution for Vinyl Records - Introducing Discwasher RD2007Z by Dee Parson

Revainrating 3 out of 5

Not like before

I've been using professional windshield washer systems in the radio sector for many years. There have been imitators, but nothing compares to the original. We recently got an old vinyl from storage and started playing records again. I bought one brand of dishwashers because they've always been the best. No longer. The handpick is smaller and the pillow is not cylindrical. This means that the cleaning surface does not fully connect the grooves of the record on the inside and outside edges, so the entire record cannot be cleaned at once. The original did it perfectly. In addition, the original velvet corner pile, which effectively trapped dust and dirt, used until it was swept back over the fabric. This new dishwasher uses normal soft velvet, which does not remove dust as effectively. Even the new D4 liquid spray applicator is less effective than the old dropper bottle. Any change is for the worse. The modern dishwasher is not as good as cheap imitations of the previous product. It erases records with some effort, which is better than nothing, but a big disappointment overall.
