Review on πŸ§”βœ¨ Billy Jealousy Devil's Delight Beard Oil - 2 Fluid Ounces by Liz Wolfe

Revainrating 5 out of 5

Great Look- Too Sweet

First things first: when using beard oil, I apply a coconut oil foundation first (when using balm, I do the same with Burt's Bees). So this review is based on a coconut oil based product in my beard (5-6 inches long). I've used many oils, balms and waxes over the years and as far as its effect on my beard goes, it's as good as if not better than any other. My large beard looks neat but not greasy. I didn't add any wax and I think this only improves the look. Also, I only had to use 1 oil pump (again in addition to the coconut oil). The only downside I have is the smell. I've had it in my beard for 2 hours and it's still extremely cute to me. Does this mean it will seem too cute to you? Not necessarily, but it's too sweet for me. However, my wife has not smelled it yet. If it complements the scent I'll happily update my review. If she doesn't say anything, I'll leave it at that. If she finds the smell repulsive, I will notice that too. I am satisfied enough with the effect of the product to try other Billy Jealousy oils. No judgment yet as to whether I would choose this fragrance again. World. UPDATE: Had to ask wife what she thinks; She said it smelled sweet, like vanilla frosting. The smell is too strong for me, but my beard looks great and so does she. World. 2. UPDATE: So I only use this once or twice a week or two, and usually with tobacco scented wax to enhance the smell. Today I forgot the wax and my wife noticed it straight away. She didn't like it. While we love the way it works, we both find the scent too sweet for whatever it's worth. I'm giving a 4 star rating because my beard looks like it's in use. There will be no buybacks. World.
