Good, heavy, powerful antenna. However, I had it on my truck (4-door Toyota Tacoma 2020) in the center of the cab roof with a heavy 66 lb engine. power magnet. The magnet held the antenna really well BUT at this point when I got to about 65mph the antenna pulled itself out of the base mount and lay down? This happened about a dozen times. I attached it to another bracket that is mounted on the edge of the hood in front of the passenger side windshield and that seemed to fix the problem completely. I don't think it gets the full direct wind force at this point due to the structural dynamics of the vehicle? This is a good talking antenna, strong signals come and go. Also go through and tighten all set screws before use. I didn't, and by the third day it was starting to fall apart. I replaced and tightened all the set screws. Not exactly sure how to set up the mini UHF antenna about halfway up the sting, but the VHF side works great! I have good meter readings.
