I bought these to prolong the life of my Apple Pencil. Many people complain about how the iPad screen feels or that it wears out too quickly. It takes a little getting used to to be honest, but I like that they help keep the noise to a minimum when using the stylus on the iPad. I regularly use my Apple Pencil. about 3-5 hours a day and I went through one of these about every two months. I think it's worth protecting an expensive Apple product.
