Medium fits my 13lb Bichon Frize well. Bichons are small dogs with a long body, so I'm pleasantly surprised that this tiny bag fits comfortably inside a Bichon. This is a fashion bag, not a tote bag. My dog can't sleep in it for very long and yes he can fall over if I leave him in the bag on the floor. However, to take it with me when I go out without looking like I'm carrying a dog, it's perfect. I'm happy to take it with me while running errands, shopping, or grabbing a quick bite where dogs aren't allowed to roam. I'm not going to leave it in this bag on a 6 hour flight; Instead, I use a really roomy kangaroo pouch. This bag is comfortable to carry and still looks very elegant. So far, the bag makes a well-made and stable impression. If anything else turns out, I'll update my review.
