The top does not fall too far, so the forehead is open. The "eye hole" is narrow, it obstructs you on the sides of your vision, it doesn't work well around the nose. If you like to keep your nose open at all times, that's fine (although it's a good way to get frostbite), but it's pretty shallow. So if you pull it to just cover the tip of your nose, it will pop. (and I don't have a big nose) So if you pull it up far enough to cover your nose and stay put, it now covers the bottom of your eyes. So your options are: 1. Freeze your exposed forehead AND freeze the tip of your nose and slightly obstruct your view to the sides. 2. When your exposed forehead gets cold and your vision deteriorates overall (except when you want to look up). An open forehead is also a real problem. If you've ever been outside in -20 and your forehead was uncovered, it didn't hurt like your nose or cheeks. It's like Ice Cream Brain Freeze! If you are ONLY wearing this under a motorcycle helmet then your forehead will likely be protected by the helmet. But then the limited view gets even worse!
