Review on Keyboard A4Tech KV-300H gray by Jnis Griis ᠌

Revainrating 5 out of 5

Matches the description completely, very satisfied.

I chose Claudia for an extremely long time and scrupulously. In the end, this product was not the choice. Based on the results of 1.5 years of use, only the best reviews are available (today 2022-11-26). The shortcomings I have indicated are rather nit-picking and a matter of personal preference. I use Logitech 29e at work. It is also good, but after a year of use, scuffs appeared around the frequently used keys - mostly near the cursor control arrows. On this one, nothing was erased or rubbed. 3 times filled with sweet tea and coffee. Accordingly, I had to dismantle, clean and collect 3 times. The procedure is troublesome due to the very large number of screws, but quite doable. The inconvenient thing is that all the screws are very small and easily lost (I lost about 5-6 pieces, but even without them everything keeps fine and does not stagger after assembly). Well, it’s also inconvenient when disassembling that you have to pick it open with something like a knife. In the assembled clave, the lower and upper parts are tightly planted in the grooves and it is very difficult to open it with your hands (if at all possible). When disassembling the Claudia, the knife "kots" the plastic a little, but it's almost invisible. After disassembly, all parts (except for the electronic board and film) were washed in warm soapy water. At the exit, I got the appearance of a new Claudia. If it so happens that I still kill this Claudia, then without a doubt I will buy the same new one (if only the manufacturer does not remove it from production).

Pros
  • 1. Classic key arrangement. 2. Keys with a small stroke, which is very good. comfortable. 3. Relatively quiet. 4. Function keys are divided into blocks. 5. Built-in 2-port UBS hub on the sides. 6. Good rubber feet, thanks to which the keyboard does not "ride" on the smooth surface of the table. 7. Small Enter key (for me it's a plus!). 8. Wired, connected to the motherboard with a USB cable (I don't like wireless solutions). 9. There are no extra keys, such as multimedia and any other nonsense (they only interfere with me).
Cons
  • 1. It takes a long time to disassemble and assemble if you need to clean it. 2. 2022 and Latin letters are not marked with different colors (may be relevant for those who do not type blindly). 3. No tilt adjustment (although the initial tilt angle is quite acceptable). 4. If you pour sweet tea or coffee on it, the keys begin to stick together and it becomes impossible to work - only disassembly with subsequent cleaning and assembly helps. 5. The angles of the keys are not aligned with the cutouts in the key base. Perfectionists won't like it. 6. The location of the keys in the cutouts of the base is not symmetrical - this can be seen if you look closely (say, there are no such small jambs in the apple keyboards - all the gaps in them are smaller, neater and more symmetrical, but the truth is that the price tag is completely different there).
