Goes well on skin for creams and moisturizers

I really wanted to love this toner. However, it does not work well with my products. It doesn't penetrate my skin, it actually sits on my skin. When I try to smear my Missha Essence over it, it becomes "slimy". But when I use my Dear Klairs toner and apply my missha essence, it doesn't feel slimy. I really like that it's vegan and doesn't contain any harsh chemicals. I think it might work for others who can't layer products like me.
