It looks more like an acupuncture pen as it doesn't use needles. It's really easy to use and very effective. I used to have another acupressure pen but I didn't like it as much as this one. The round ends are polished and smooth. I have enough weight, so the pressure is more effective than on lighter ones. It's not disturbingly heavy, just a few pounds. I do acupuncture twice a month for various reasons. This acupressure pen will help me a lot between visits. Especially with arthritis in my hand from an old injury. I hope to be able to use it for some other pains as well. I was amazed at the good results of acupressure and acupressure can help you. There is a wealth of information on the internet about acupressure points and acupressure charts. Where are they located and what does each individual point do? This acupressure pen is painless, needle-free and effective. I am very happy with mine. And be sure it doesn't go away!
