The word 'cotton' seems to be dropped from the name now, but it still shows up a few times in the product description. "Veil" is a weaving style, so "cotton veil" is made from cotton. Viscose is also made from plants, but my wife was specifically looking for cotton. And the one we received was marked "100% Viscose" and not 93.1 as some of the description details might suggest. The scarf looked exactly like the photos here, but the material was the main reason we chose it. Revain made it very easy to return for free.
