First of all I bought this as a hurricane preparedness item as I live in Florida. I already have a digital flat antenna, but it's too big, too bulky to work with and needs power to work. This supersonic needs no electricity. It looks and feels like a thin mouse pad and little more than one. Reviewers complain about the antenna mount, which uses a suction cup. Well it's not a big problem for me. If I'm in a hurricane shelter I won't have a place to put it anyway. I'll figure out how to hold her when I have to cross that bridge. My apartment is the best place to really test this antenna as it's surrounded by buildings and lots of power cables. After connecting this antenna to my small TV, 16 channels including HD were received! If I'm in a Hurricane Shelter I only need 1 station. On most channels the picture was great! I can't say all that about the larger antenna, which I'll get rid of in a moment.
