Review on 🐾 Ultimate Pet Gear Carrier & Car Seat for Cats and Dogs: Safety and Comfort Combined! by Katie Parker

Sasha likes it, me too!

Bought to replace a cheap enclosed car seat/rack that I bought at Walmart. My fluffy baby Sasha is afraid to travel by car. After spending many dollars on open car seats, seat belts, etc., I realized that she felt safer in a closed trunk. We are both happy with this product. The previous one I had didn't have a hole at the top and was starting to bend/flex - I knew it was time to replace ASAP! I was undecided on this product because many of the reviewers had smaller dogs. My Sasha is a Shihon (a Shih Tzu and Bichon mix), weighs 15 pounds, is 19 inches long and 12 inches tall. It fits comfortably in this stretcher with plenty of space. On the back there is a strap for attaching the seat belt. My only issue is that I wish there was webbing on the side of the carrier for a seat belt. Why? I figured I could place this carrier parallel to my back seat, but since the seat belt is on the back of the carrier, it needs to be placed perpendicular to the back seat. This means that (if like me you place your pet carrier in the back seat of your car) the front opening of the carrier is directly behind your seat, making getting your pet out more difficult than being able to turn around. side strap. But I think the top opening is another way to let your pet out. Overall it seems durable and will have some longevity. I also appreciate the mesh around the perimeter which allows us to see each other while behind the wheel and offers full ventilation which keeps it super cool.
