500ml size is perfect. Nice simple sleek design. Doesn't take up much room on counter. Smaller less bulky than Bodum. All stainless interior, not plastic like Bodum. Never a real fan of Bodum's plastic but 500ml kettles hard to find. Lid removes completely which makes cleaning entire interior possible. Bodum's permanently hinged lid makes complete cleaning impossible. Exterior also cleans better. Bodum plastic dulled with use and cleaning. This holding up well to cleaning so far.Minus one star - lid vents steam at handle. Doesn't happen often but steam coming through this gap can burn your thumb if you grab kettle after full boil. Best and most natural grip is fingers around handle with thumb on top. Two small thumb blisters so far. Not a deal breaker but should be fixed imo.
